INSTRUCTIONS: Use this form to submit proposals for presentations at Pulse Check 2018.
Each speaker should submit three (3) presentations. Each presentation is 30 minutes long.
Deadline for submissions is December 15, 2017 and presenters will be notified of acceptance or rejection during February 2018.
NOTE: This form requires submission of a bio, presentation outlines, presentation objectives, etc. It is recommended you review the form requirements to have all materials ready before completion. Incomplete forms / submissions will not be accepted.
Pulse Check 2018, the annual EMS conference of the New York State Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Association will be held the Albany Marriott (Wolf Road, Colonie)September 21 through 23, 2018.
Pulse Check 2018 will use a “Big Room” format with a running series of 30-minute back-to-back talks grouped into 90 minute blocks. Presenters are asked to provide three proposals for consideration. Pulse Check may choose one or more of these submissions.

Speakers will be provided with complimentary conference registration (including CMEs), meals, and lodging for up to three nights (September 20, 21, 22) at the Marriott, and complimentary admission to a Speakers Dinner held at the same time as the NYSVARA Annual Banquet on Saturday evening. NYSVARA cannot reimburse travel expenses or provide an honorarium. This is a great opportunity for exposure; the conference is attended by over 300 EMS providers from throughout New York State. You will also be amongst a highly respected faculty volunteering their talents for this worthwhile endeavor.
