NYSVARA Scholarship
The NYSVARA annually provides three scholarships to applicants who are individual members of; or an immediate family member of a member of a squad in good standing in the NYSVARA. These scholarships must be used by applicants to furthering their education in a medical related field, and may not be used for EMT and / or CFR courses. North Central EMS Cooperative
Squad (organizational) and EMS Service Sponsoring members also receive membership in the North Central EMS Cooperative, a nation-wide buying cooperative, best cost pricing discount program – a $75 value included free with your NYSVARA membership (NYSVARA is the NYS affiliate of the coop). The program includes: Medical Supplies, Office Supplies, Defibrillators, Electronic PCRs, Fleet Fuel Cards, Ambulances, EMS Legal Services and more.
